Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer

1.1 The organizer of the “Match of Your Life” contest (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is the

Paulaner Sales & Marketing GmbH,

Ohlmüllerstrasse 42, 81541 Munich, Germany

(hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).

1.2 FC Bayern Munich is not the organizer of the competition. FC Bayern Munich is not responsible

for the conduct of the competition or for the selection or evaluation of participants, and assumes

no liability in this regard.

2. Subject of the competition

The contest is part of a national branding and activation campaign by the organizer.

The aim of the contest is to select suitable participants for a special soccer experience, during which

selected participants will have the opportunity to compete against a professional men’s soccer team

in an official match.

This competition serves exclusively to preselect potential candidates for a live casting event taking place

as part of the campaign. The term “prize” used in the campaign communications to describe the invitation

to this live casting is used purely for marketing reasons and for linguistic simplicity.

Legally, this invitation expressly does not constitute a prize in the sense of a promise of a prize

or a firm commitment to provide a benefit. Rather, it is a purely subjective selection decision by the jury,

which is made at its free, discretionary judgment and in accordance with its duties, taking into account

the campaign-specific requirements.

Any legal claim to consideration in the selection process, the invitation to the live casting, the actual

conduct of or participation in the casting, or to continued participation in the subsequent competition

or the associated game is excluded. The organizer also reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel

the selection process or the casting at any time without giving reasons, without this giving rise to any claims

on the part of the participants.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Only natural persons who

3.2 The competition is designed for participation in a specific competitive format in men’s sports.

The match is conceived as a sporting contest against a professional men’s team in licensed soccer and

requires a corresponding level of performance, adherence to rules, and physical exertion. To ensure a fair,

safe, and rule-compliant match, the restriction of participation to male participants is objectively justified.

3.3 The following are excluded from participation:

3.4 Participation is permitted only in person and in one’s own name.

Multiple entries and automated entries are not permitted.

3.5 The restriction on participation does not constitute an evaluation or disparagement of the athletic

abilities of other individuals or genders, but stems exclusively from the specific structure of the athletic

competition format.

3.6 The organizer is firmly committed to diversity and equality in sports. The present participation

restriction applies exclusively to this competition and this specific format. The implementation or

development of additional formats for other target groups remains unaffected by this.

4. The application period begins on April 1, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. and ends on December 31, 2026,

at 11:59 p.m. (CET/CEST). The time of receipt of the application on the organizer’s website shall be decisive.

The organizer reserves the right to extend or shorten the application period for objective reasons.

5. Participation and Online Application

5.1 Participation is available exclusively through the website operated by the organizer.

5.2 The application process consists of several stages and may include the following elements in particular:

5.3 Once a particular stage of the application process has been completed, you are not entitled to make any

subsequent changes or additions to the information or content you have submitted.

5.4 There is no entitlement to participate in a specific stage of the competition.

6. Video Uploads and Preliminary Review

6.1 If video uploads are permitted, their submission is voluntary.

Each participant may upload a maximum of one video with a length of up to 90 seconds.

6.2 The videos may only feature the participant themselves and must not infringe upon any third-party rights,

in particular copyrights, personality rights, trademark rights, or other intellectual property rights. This must

be expressly confirmed during the registration process by checking the corresponding confirmation boxes.

6.3 The organizer reserves the right to initially screen uploaded videos automatically

(e.g., using AI-powered systems). This screening is intended to determine whether the submissions meet

the specified minimum formal criteria (e.g., file format, video length) and content standards

(e.g., freedom from illegal content).

6.4 This automated preliminary review serves as a technical pre-selection. The final decision regarding

whether a video will be considered in the further course of the competition is always made by a human being.

No decision-making process is conducted exclusively by automated means. There is no legal entitlement

to a positive pre-screening result or a manual review in the event that the minimum criteria are not met.

6.5 There is no entitlement to disclosure of evaluation criteria, scores, or review results.

7. Jury and selection decisions

7.1 Participants will be selected by a jury appointed by the organizer at its sole and final discretion.

The primary purpose of the contest is for the jury to identify suitable candidates; no prize in the traditional

or legal sense (e.g., material or cash prizes) is being offered.

7.2 The sole “prize” within the context of the campaign communication is the invitation to participate

in a casting. However, this invitation does not constitute a legally binding offer, but is the result of

a purely subjective selection decision by the jury. There is no legal entitlement to an invitation or to

consideration in the subsequent process at any time.

7.3 All selection decisions are made at the jury’s sole discretion. The organizer has no influence

over the evaluation of participants’ content or the specific selection criteria.

It merely ensures the organizational and communicative framework of the competition.

7.4 In addition to the participants from this competition, the casting itself—which is no longer part

of the contest—will also include individuals from European and non-European countries

who were selected through separate procedures.

This may influence the number of available spots for final participation in the game as well as the

selection chances of local participants.

7.5 A selection decision (e.g., an invitation to the casting) does not confer an automatic right

to further participation in the competition or to participation in the final round of the game.

7.6 As part of this competition, a total of 30 participants residing in Germany will be selected

to participate in the live casting.

The selection will be made by the jury in accordance with the above provisions.

7.7 The organizer reserves the right, independently of the regular application and selection process,

to directly nominate individual participants for the Paulaner Dreamteam via a “wild card.”

The awarding of a wild card is at the organizer’s sole editorial discretion, taking into account athletic,

communicative, or conceptual aspects.

7.8 There is no entitlement to a wildcard. The possibility of awarding a wildcard does not constitute

an entitlement to participate in the regular competition or guarantee inclusion in the Paulaner Dreamteam.

The award may be granted in addition to the regular process and is not contingent on jury or voting results.

7.9 The organizer reserves the right to conduct a community vote, in whole or in part, regardless

of the regular application and selection process. The decision regarding the implementation, timing,

duration, scope of entries included, and the specific format of the vote is at the sole discretion of the

organizer.

If the voting is conducted, participants’ published entries may be supported by registered users

through a positive reaction (e.g., “Like”). Participation in the voting may be subject to prior registration

or authentication. Only one vote per entry is permitted per registered person.

For the sharing, distribution, or other publication of posts within the scope of the community voting

on social media platforms, the respective terms of use, community guidelines, and privacy policies of the

corresponding platform operators shall apply in addition. The organizer has no influence over the

terms and conditions of the respective platforms and assumes no liability in this regard.

By using the respective platform, participants and voters accept the applicable platform terms and conditions.

7.10 There is no entitlement to the conduct of a community vote. The possibility of holding such a vote

does not constitute an entitlement to inclusion in the vote, to a specific weighting in the selection process,

or to a guaranteed selection. The community vote may be conducted in addition to the regular process

and is not necessarily tied to jury or other evaluation results.

The organizer reserves the right to adjust, restrict, suspend, or terminate the community vote for objective

reasons, as well as to take appropriate measures to ensure the integrity of the vote. In the event of attempts

at manipulation or violations of the voting rules, exclusion from the competition may occur.

8. What happens next

The live casting in Munich taking place following the selection of the winner, as well as all related activities,

are expressly not part of the contest prize.

The prize is limited solely to the invitation and the associated right to participate in the casting session.

During the live casting, the jury will evaluate the participants in order to decide on the final selection

for the team for a match featuring a selection from the FC Bayern squad.

The invitation to and participation in the live casting do not at any time constitute a legal claim to inclusion

in the team, a role, or any other further participation in the campaign.

By extending the invitation, the organizer does not guarantee any subsequent collaboration.

The jury’s decisions during the casting are based on subjective artistic and professional criteria;

they are final and cannot be contested. The contest, as defined by these Terms and Conditions, is considered

concluded upon delivery of the invitations to the selected individuals. The subsequent final selection

of team members takes place outside the scope of the contest at the discretion of the organizer.

9. Withdrawal from the Contest and Data Deletion

9.1 Participants may withdraw from the competition at any time without providing reasons.

9.2 Withdrawal may be effected via the designated functions on the application platform or by notifying

the organizer accordingly.

9.3 As a result of withdrawal, the personal data collected in connection with participation and

any content provided will be deleted, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this.

10. Rights to use content

10.1 Rights of Use in Connection with the Contest

By uploading image or video material (hereinafter “Content”), the participant grants the organizer an irrevocable,

unlimited in time and scope, and transferable right to use the Content for reporting on the contest.

This includes, in particular, the right to reproduce, distribute, and make the Content publicly available

on the Organizer’s own website as well as on its social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).

The content will be used exclusively for the purpose of media coverage, documentation, and promotion of the contest,

as well as for the presentation of participants’ entries. The organizer is entitled to edit the content for these purposes

(e.g., cropping, resizing), provided that this does not disparage the participant.

If the participant or other persons are recognizable in the content, by uploading it, the participant expressly consents

to the publication and distribution of their likeness in accordance with § 22 KUG, as well as to the associated

processing of their personal data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO. The Participant warrants that they hold

all rights to the content and—if other persons are depicted—have obtained their express consent to the

aforementioned use.

The grant of rights is provided free of charge. There is no right to attribution; however, the organizer is entitled

to mention the participant’s (user) name in connection with the content.

The participant may revoke their consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future by notifying

the organizer. In the event of revocation, the corresponding content will be removed from the organizer’s

online platforms, provided that no statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests preclude this.

10.2 Rights of use in connection with the casting and the play

If the participant takes part in a casting call following the contest, the above provisions regarding the granting

of usage rights and consent to the processing of personal data shall apply accordingly to any image, audio,

and video recordings made during the casting call.

In particular, the participant agrees that during the image and audio recordings may be made and used and

published for the purposes of conducting, documenting, and promoting the contest and the casting.

If the participant is selected to participate in a sporting event or a comparable event, image, audio, and

video recordings may be made in connection with that event.

Since this event may be broadcast or utilized on television, via streaming platforms, or other online media, the

comprehensive granting of corresponding usage and exploitation rights requires a separate written agreement

between the organizer and the participant.

Participation in the sporting event is contingent upon the conclusion of this separate agreement.

The participant is aware that in the event of media exploitation (e.g., TV broadcast, live stream, media libraries,

social media clips), the use of the recordings created during the event may be required without restriction

in terms of time, location, or content. This will be regulated in a separate agreement.

11. Disqualification from the competition

The organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants from the contest in the event of violations of these

terms and conditions, false statements, attempts at manipulation, or inappropriate behavior.

12. Liability

12.1 The organizer is liable without limitation in cases of intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health.

12.2 In cases of slight negligence in the breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to

foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract.

12.3 The organizer is not liable for health risks resulting from participation in sporting activities.

12.4 Participation in the competition, as well as in any castings, training sessions, filming, or sporting activities,

is at the participants' own risk.

Participation in sporting activities requires sufficient health and physical fitness.

Participants are responsible for having their health medically assessed before participation, if necessary.

13. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

Details can be found in the separate data protection notices, which are available on the website.

14. Change or termination of the competition

The organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or prematurely terminate the competition for objective reasons.

The organizer is entitled to adapt, further develop, or specify the content, individual phases, or mechanics

of the competition for editorial or organizational reasons, provided that the fundamental nature of the competition

and the legitimate interests of the participants are preserved.

15. Legal recourse

Legal recourse is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

16. Choice of Law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively, excluding international private law.

17. Severability Clause

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid in whole or in part,

the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
